Dr. Emma WellsIn this episode, we are joined by Dr. Emma Wells; ecclesiastical historian and buildings archeologist at the University of York in England.
Dr. Wells's tenure as an archeologist began at the University of York. Where she earned a BA in History of Art, and an MA in Buildings Archeology. From there she went on to Durham University to earn her PhD in Buildings Archeology. Following her own educational endeavors, she returned to York and is now the leader for both the PGDip in Parish Church Studies program, and the MA in English Building History program.
Along with her work in academia, Dr. Wells is also a published author. Her most recent book, titled Pilgrim Routes of the British Isles, was released in 2016. She is also working on another book titled Heaven On Earth: The Lives & Legacies of the World’s Greatest Cathedrals. She also writes regularly for various publications, and has appeared on different broadcasts, in the UK.
