Yes, basically! All you really need is a computer or a phone with Internet access. After that you need to record your content and upload it to what is called a "podcast host" which makes your episodes available to the Internet.
🎙 How do you record a podcast?
To record a podcast you need an app or software that records sound. For phones there are a bunch of apps to record with, and for computers a lot of people use a free piece of software called Audacity.

When you have recorded your podcast and uploaded it to your podcast host it’s time to get the word out there. Maybe you want your podcast to be available on Apple Podcasts or Spotify? Swingers tells the story of Ruth - a woman who joined a Swinging website and ended up having degrading sex with strangers more than 100 times. Ruth thinks she is not alone, that there are women all over the UK like her and so she decided to tell her story, using her full identity, to investigative journalist Catrin Nye. Ruth says that she never wanted to join the swingers website - but did it to please her husband who had been slowly persuading her for more than a decade to try swinging. She ended up having sex with strangers in lay-bys and filming it for her husband. She ended up pregnant by a stranger and giving oral sex to another man while bleeding from an abortion. In this podcast Catrin pieces together Ruth’s story and asks what it tells us about sexual consent, pressure in relationships, and the swinger community. She digs deep into the online world of Fab Swingers - the website Ruth and her husband used. Catrin discovers countless crimes across the UK linked to the swinging website and speaks to a man who admits to having sex with women who he thinks were pushed into it. She considers the police response to Ruth, the law and whether swinging can be a cover for abuse. This is a story told in full honesty. It’s the trickiest investigation of Catrin’s career, but one she also feels must be told.

CATHOLIC MILITARY LIFE is a podcast of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS). The AMS was established as an independent archdiocese by Pope Saint John Paul II in 1985 as the only Catholic jurisdiction responsible for endorsing and granting faculties for priests to serve as chaplains in the U.S. military and VA Medical Centers. AMS-endorsed priests serve at more than 220 U.S. military installations in 29 countries, making the AMS the nation's only global archdiocese. AMS-endorsed chaplains also serve at 153 VA Medical Centers throughout the U.S. The AMS service population also includes American Catholic civilians working for the federal government in 134 countries, but currently, due to limited resources, the AMS cannot adequately serve this population.
