Fr. Anthony Amato is the Pastor of St. Peter’s Parish in Clifton Springs, New York. He was ordained as a priest in June of 2017 by Bishop Salvatore Matano of the Diocese of Rochester, New York. In Today's Show I had a friend who was a witch that gave me a gift, should I keep it? Is being an empath an acceptable gift to have in the eyes of the Church? Is the painless birth of Jesus a teaching that is a required belief for Catholics? Are there particular prayers we should say after receiving communion? How do you decide what penance you should give as a confessor? What was St. Malachy’s prophecy, and should we take it seriously? Does the Church allow the sanctuary/altar candles to be electric? What happens when you remember sins that you didn't remember to confess? Is it okay to attend the Saturday vigil for Sunday obligation, even if it wasn't a practice earlier in the Church? Is it okay to pray the rosary during mass?
