Louise Rey: Outdoor Adventure Racing
What do bacon butties and a cup of tea have in common? Absolutely nothing, but they sure taste good after a 51 kilometre adventure race through the Scottish Highlands! Louise Rey, a weekend adventurer and cofounder of City Camping, joins me on this weeks episode as we discuss the phenomenon known as outdoor adventure racing, the lessons learned from the races we completed and why you should consider doing one. We can both relate to cramming all of our gear into a carry-on bag for our outdoor pursuits and we help you navigate those weird sounding items found on a race kit list. Louise shares with us the exciting developments of City Camping and the importance of getting out in nature. Want to know more about this initiative?
