Amy-Eloise Neale
In this episode of Conversations About Running we are joined by professional On Athlete, Amy-Eloise Neale.
Amy is a British middle to long distance runner with an impressive track record, including a European Indoor Championship Gold medal 🥇 and multiple British track and field championship medals. Her podium finishes are backed up by some seriously fast times too, including 14.56 over 5000m and 31.17 over 10,000m - a distance she has focused on a little more over the past few months in the hope to improve this time even further.
Having just returned back to the UK after a stint of high altitude training in Iten 🇰🇪 along with her team mates and coach, Rob Denmark, she is now preparing for a period of winter racing which includes the British indoor championships and a 10,000m race in March at Sound Running Festival 'The Ten'.
We chat with Amy about her altitude camp, her preparation for the upcoming season, the British Athletics selection policy, and her thoughts on the latest On spikes.
