Listen:Gemma Delaney talks to Damien about the topical Ozempic - and why works it for her!...

This morning on 'Deise Today', Damien chatted to fellow WLR presenter Gemma Delaney, as we continued to cover the topical weight management issue and the growing use of weight-loss jabs.

As she was heading for her 40s and had endured a difficult relationship with food and dieting for many years, Gemma approached her GP some time ago to enquire about possible use of Ozempic, not for weight loss BUT to take the constant fixation on dieting away from her.

Her doctor gave it the nod and now Gemma is two months into taking Ozempic - and says her own experience so far is a positive one.

She knows the use of such medication has its critics in some but she feels that if people have difficulties there is nothing wrong with taking the "easy way out" as some would describe it, and not suffering unnecessarily - either with your body or your thoughts.
