BIO:
Fr. Jacob Bertrand Janczyk, O.P. earned a degree in biomedical sciences at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY where he also competed in Division 1 cross country and track. After his ordination in 2017 Fr. Jacob Bertrand served as the assistant chaplain at Aquinas House, and the Catholic campus ministry center at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. until 2018.
He previously served as the Director of Vocations for the Dominican Province of St. Joseph from 2018-2022, and now is the Pastor of St. Denis Catholic Church, Hanover, NH.Fr. Jacob Bertrand holds a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Dominican House of Studies. He is a co-host of the Catholic Classics podcast and the infamous Podcast Godsplaining. And lastly, along with Fr. Patrick Briscoe, he is the author of St. Dominic’s Way of Life: A Path to Knowing and Loving God (Our Sunday Visitor, 2021).
