Sister Marie Inconnue was a French nun who protected Acadian refugees' treasure during the 1755 expulsion, was brutally murdered and beheaded by sailors seeking the gold, and now her headless ghost eternally wanders the shores of French Fort Cove in New Brunswick, asking anyone she encounters, "Where is my head?"
