During the week's episode of greener fields, Hannah chats with performer and comidean Rachel Galvin from Co.Dublin.

During this conversation Rachel speaks about growing up in Dublin, finding her voice in musical theatre, the pressure to fit in and be accepted, moving to London to pursue her passion, her growth and success on social media, her use of comedy to discuss challenging topics, what she's learned over the years and so much more.

Having found a passion for preforming and theatre as a child, Rachel speaks about how this changed as she grew up when the desire to fit in overtook this. Rachel is now fully leaning into her love of preforming with her first West End Debut and Dublin performances of her show 'The Shite Feminist' coming up over the next few months. There is so much power in knowing you are not alone in how you might think or feel, and Rachel does an incredible job at discussing challenging topics such as body image, mental health and the patriarchy in a lighthearted and thought provoking way online and in her show.

This is a very special conversation about overcoming self-doubt, the pressure to fit in, the importance of embarrassing yourself a little, the role of location in terms of creativity, what success now means to her and learning to flip your own internal script, so make sure to check it out.
