Conor Niland - William Hill Sports Book of the Year winner

Congratulations are in order for Conor Niland and Gavin Cooney, who today won the William Hill Sports Book of the Year award for their superb book 'The Racket'.

This is just the third time Irish authors have won the prestigious award.

Upon the book's release back in June, Conor dropped by the Off The Ball Breakfast studio to talk about his life on the road as a professional tennis player, his close-up encounters with some future greats, and his moments on the big stages of SW19 and Flushing Meadows during the summer of 2011.
