Fr Peter Mary Rookey OSM was a Roman Catholic friar and priest, ordained into the Order of Servants of Mary on May 17, 1941, at Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica in Chicago. He was often referred to as 'The Healing Priest' due to the countless healings of spirit, soul and body received through his ministry. He was known and loved for his commitment to the Divine Office, the Holy Rosary and the prayerful celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Fr Peter went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Our Lady of Sorrows Monastery in Chicago. Learn more at https://therookeysaint.org.
