Keeler 1930 - Kaye Kessler
At the 2017 Memorial Tournament, Shane O’Donoghue interviewed legendary scribe, Kaye Kessler.
Kaye witnessed Jack Nicklaus’ first ever lesson in golf, as a 10 year old in 1950 at his local club, Scioto Country Club.
Nobody has covered the career of Jack Nicklaus more than Kaye Kessler. Aged 93 at the time of the interview, his recall was amazing and his trained journalistic brain as sharp as ever.
