Ronin Council: Frieren Beyond Journey's End - Season 1 Review

One of the hottest anime to take the 2023 anime season by storm was "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End". It is a story about a nigh-immortal elf who has already finished her hero's journey and now roams the world collecting magical items and learning about humans. The story has been praised for its subtle and restrained take on the Shonen/Fantasy category. I can't help myself but have a little bit of a contrary take on it but as always I do my best to articulate what I think the truth about the anime is and why. A returning guest, "Kranberri Jam" who appeared on the Yuuki Yuna podcast is accompanying me. If you have seen the anime or read the manga I am really curious about what you think. Sometimes I feel crazy for having the opinion that I do.
