Having turned 101 earlier this month we jumped on the DART and made the pilgrimage to Charlie O'Leary's memories laden Northside abode.Charlie was the Republic of Ireland's kit-man throughout the Jack Charlton glory years and was described by Jack as the essence of the spirit of that golden squad.We hear how Charlie survived the Luftwaffe Bombing of Dublin's North Strand in 1941; which claimed the lives of 28 of his neighbours, how he had an audience with Pope John Paul II and how he is loved by both Roy Keane and Mick McCarthy.
