ep51. Rosemarie Bennis. Managing Rheumatoid Arthritis, Holistic Health & The Heart Of Community
Rosemarie Bennis joins us this week to talk about living and managing rheumatoid arthritis. Rosemarie has a lightness and playfulness about her while also being candid about how rheumatoid shows up in her life every day.
We talk about how difficult it was to accept RA especially being deeply embedded in holistic health and all things natural. We explored cold water therapy, asking for help, pilates, healthy eating and more.
This is a conversation about chronic illness, connection, and showing up anyway. Community as you will hear is at the centre of her life and she is at the centre of her community. I was also intrigued as to how she set up her thriving business and community.
Rosemarie is a mother, deeply involved in the community and the owner of a Sonas Health shop a community health shop, which is a gift to the local area.
Rosemarie mentioned Aileen Dillane, Nora O’Grady for Pilates, Jim McNamara and the Organic College in Dromcollagher https://www.organiccollege.com and the Kilmeedy Community Group.

The Susan Sheehan Podcast
A place to hear from real women a pivotal experience in their life. The conversations reflect all the challenges, joys, twists and turns of life and most of the women are not known in the public eye. They are women like you and me, who are sharing sometimes vulnerable and deeply personal experiences, in the hope that it helps another women going through a similar situation. For me every conversations holds a a blessing, a gift and an opportunity for us to connect and know we have each other.
