After living their dream of sailing the warm Pacific Coast for two years, retired middle-aged couple Thomas and Jackie Hawks of Prescott, Arizona, were ready to come back ashore. Family was all-important to them, so with the arrival of their first grandchild, it took no time to put their beloved ocean home, their yacht the Well Deserved, on the market. They planned for many more moments shared with their new grandson, but there was only one to be had before meeting a sure buyer on November 15, 2004, for a final sea trial. They were never heard from again.
