On 3 November, The Irish Rugby Pod announced that it has joined the Sport Social Podcast Network. The show is hosted by former Ireland international Ian Madigan, who won 31 caps, and David Sharkey, who worked with Ronan O'Gara at La Rochelle and has spent years working on the culture and psychology of elite sport in Ireland and Australia. Sport Social's head of sport, Stefan Doyle, pointed to the heavy international calendar ahead as the reason the timing was right.
